Passed matriculation and I.Sc. in 1^st division and MBBS with Honours  and Gold medal in 1961. Did MS (Obgyn) in 1966. recipient of Post metric and merit scholarships through out his medical Career.

Joined service in 1962 in Obgyn Department and served in different capacities at all state Medical Colleges. Have been practicing as Obstetricians and Gynecologist for last 40 years. Working now at Shanti Hospital as senior Consultant for last 9 years. Have been in active research besides teaching in medical Colleges and published 26 original papers in National journals. Have been attending various national & Asian Congress of Obst. & Gynae and presenting papers. Has been a postgraduate guide for 12 years and U.G. and PG examiner for 7 years in State and outside Universities.

Have been doing all types of major obst. & Gyn operation including Wertheren, LAVH, NDVH and others at Shanti Hospital.
