Got married to Dr. Rekha Das, second daughter of Mr. Sarat Ch. Das of Badambadi, Cuttack on 22^nd November 1989.

Dr. Rekha Das – Entered into Post Graduate Course i.e. M.D. in Anesthesiology 1992 .

Dr. Rekha Das initially joined Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Research Institute as a Lecturer in Dept. of Anesthesiology in 1997 & presently is designated as Asst. Prof. In the same dept.

1^st child (Son) – Abhinav Pattnaik (RAJ) was born on 18^th January 1994. Presently studying in Std.- III, in Stewart School, Cuttack

2^nd child (daughter) – ADITI (nick name- Anna) was born on 23^rd December 1998. Presently studying in Kinder Garden Play School & has completed 1 year of pre school.
